gp-07 is a model with a characteristic frame thickness, andwhen compared to
gp-05, the difference is more noticeable
The lower part of the frame is rounded.
By rounding the bottom of the frame, the shape fits the human face shape better than
frames with angles, making it easier to
fit the face.
The temples also match the thickness of the frames, so
they fit better than other models, and
are recommended for those who like a firm fit.
The glasses produced by guepard are
recognized as the best in the world at that time
French vintage of 1940's and 50's.
We pay respect to the French vintage of 1940's and 50's
such as design and fabrics, and update only the size
to be modern while keeping the atmosphere of those days .
Theproduction is made in a workshop in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture,
known as one of the major production centers of eyeglasses in Japan.
Each itemis carefully and wholeheartedly finished.
The nose pad is
integrated into the frame, which is not possible with mass production, and the unique handmade
details can be seen everywhere.
ABOUT THE BRAND
During the Prohibition Era in the 1920s, the slang for glasses in the U.S. was "cheetah," the English word "cheetar" being replaced by the French word "guepard. During the Prohibition era, standard jazz was indispensable for uplifting people. Like the music that has been passed down as material for improvisation, the new interpretation of French Vintage is proposed, inheriting the high design quality of French Vintage and arranging it in a delicate way to match the atmosphere of today.
