ブランド名は"made in india"の頭文字から取られ、2つの「I」は、２つの国の出会い、２人のデザイナーの出会い、そしてあなたと I （Mii）との貴重な出会いを表している。コレクションは全てパリでデザインされ、織りやプリント、刺繍などの制作はインドのコルタカのアトリエで、すべて手作業で行われている。世界的に有名なテキスタイルの伝統技術をもつ２つの国の特徴を生かしながら、新しいクリエイションを生み続けている。
