士郎正宗原作、押井守監督による
SFアニメーション映画の金字塔
『GHOST IN THE SHELL / 攻殻機動隊』（1995）と
HATRAのコラボレーションアイテムとなります。
HATRAデザイナー 長見佳祐が
ブランド設立以前より深く影響を受けてきた同作について、
「粒子」を鍵に表現したカプセルコレクション第一弾。
こちらのコレクションは、公開30周年を記念し、
今年1月、虎ノ門・TOKYO NODEで開催された展覧会
『攻殻機動隊展 Ghost and the Shell 』会場にて、
先行販売されたアイテムとなります。
映画『GHOST IN THE SHELL / 攻殻機動隊』（1995年）の
背景原画をジャカードで表現したニットセーター。
「ネットは広大だわ」という
印象的なラストシーンをモチーフに、
無限に広がるネットワークと摩天楼が重なり合う
ランドスケープを色分解し、
緻密な編み組織で再構成しています。
HATRAのシグネチャーでもある、
6色の原色糸を用いたジャカードニットは、
複雑な図案を豊かな奥行きとともに描き出す
ブランドを象徴する技法。
厚手のコットン糸を採用することで、
ニットでありながら扱いやすく、
日常使いにも適した仕上がりに。
一般的なウールニットとは異なり、
軽やかな着心地はロングスリーブTシャツに近く、
季節を問わず長い期間活躍する一着です。
